It is our responsibility to practice good corporate citizenship in our workplace and the communities where we serve. Here are some examples of how we're making an impact.

Princeton, New Jersey

The Princeton office assembles care packages for service members

In partnership with the USO, the Princeton office team successfully assembled 380 military care packages, an impressive increase over the 340 care packages prepared a year ago.

Last year, the Maximus care packages reached service members at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Dover Air Force Base. These care packages supported our troops from around the world after a month‑long Warrior Exercise (WAREX) U.S. Army Reserve training event.

We’re incredibly grateful for our military community and are honored to support them again, and we look forward to seeing where the Maximus care packages will make an impact this year!

San Antonio, Texas

Members of the ¡MÁXIMO! Employee Resource Group (ERG) lead outreach to local food bank

The ¡MÁXIMO! ERG coordinated an outreach event with the San Antonio Food Bank and Haven for Hope, a shelter and community support organization.

ERG members and local Maximus employees volunteered by serving a warm meal to the community and assisted with preparing over 2,700 sandwiches for local distribution.

Maximus employees enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to the next opportunity to volunteer.

Tampa, Florida

Florida employees show Veteran appreciation through partnerships

Maximus’ Tampa Bay, Florida, team actively supports the military community. The team recently participated in Operation Partnership with the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. The event provided useful information to local businesses, explaining ways they can recruit and retain military members and their family members.

Local Maximus leaders also attended and sponsored the Military Bay Military Appreciation event on May 16. Businesses in attendance learned about the various military outreach efforts taking place in Tampa Bay.

Maximus Foundation

Another way that Maximus gives back to the communities in which we live and operate is through the Maximus Foundation. The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations and charities that help disadvantaged populations and underserved communities – with a focus on youth and child development, healthcare, and community development.

“This cycle reflects the heart of our company – where every voice matters and every vote shapes our impact for how we want to show up as partners.” -  Dr. Arvenita Washington Cherry, President & Chairperson, Maximus Foundation

See the work we do

In our 2025 annual giving, the Maximus Foundation was proud to award over $2 million in grants to 60 high-impact nonprofits across 16 states and Washington, D.C. These partners support community-led solutions and meet urgent needs with compassion and care — through efforts such as expanding food access, reducing homelessness, and empowering youth, among many others.
